Pacesetter will again be providing a series of “Champ Camp” Basketball Camps, featuring state championship players and coaches as directors. Each camp will be a 3-day, 28-hour intense program of teaching skills, providing drills to develop habits and competition to test skills in 1-on-1, 2-on-2, 3-on-3, and 5-on-5 settings. Contests and awards will also be provided. Coaches and parents are invited to attend the camp at any time.
Camps are for boys and girls entering grades 6-10 in 2019-2020.
Camp Limit: 48 players
Most Pacesetter "Champ Camps" filled with 48 players last summer and are expected to fill again this year.
Past directors have been John Carlson, Jeff McCarron, Steve Lingenfelter, Dave Walker, Tom Vix, Steve Hucke, Paul McDonald and Joel McDonald– all state championship players or coaches.
Players have the option of attending as a commuter or resident. Players and coaches are housed locally.
Players also are provided with meals and snacks.
Camp Fee: $160-$170
Meals and Snacks: $50 (required)
2 Nights Housing: $80 (optional)
Commuters: $210-$250 (includes meals & snacks)
Residents: $290-310 (includes all food and two nights housing)
Tues: 10 am - 8 pm • Wed: 8:30 am - 8 pm • Thurs: 8:30 am - 4 pm
