NOTE: The College Prep Camp is the day before the Top 100 Expo Showcase, so a number of Expo players are expected to participate in the College Prep Camp to prepare for the Expo. Interested players are encouraged to register soon as openings may be limited.
Any Top 100 players who would like to stay in the dorm Sunday night and receive a meal Sunday night before the Top 100 Expo should contact Tracey in the Pacesetter office at firstname.lastname@example.org. Arrangements can be made if planned two weeks in advance.
Paul McDonald led his Chisholm Bluestreaks team to two Minnesota state championships in 1973 and 1975 and is currently head coach at Vermilion Community College in Ely, where he has led his Ironmen to 17 straight Minnesota MCAC state tournaments. Paul has been a camp clinician for over 30 years, he has directed the Top 100 Expo for many years, he has been a frequent state tournament official, and he was recently selected as a Governor's appointee to the Minnesota State High School League board of directors.
In addition to his expertise as a coach and teacher of all basketball skills, "Coach Mac" is known for his fun teaching style and great insight into basketball from all perspectives as a player, coach and official. His advice for college-bound players is invaluable and highly respected by players and parents.
Paul's father is the legendary Bob McDonald, Minnesota's winningest high school coach with over 1,000 wins.
