2026 Minnesota State Championships

Grades 4-7 • Boys & Girls • SUN, March 29 • St. Cloud (Teams qualify via regions.)
Region champion and runner-up teams will be invited and should register for this 8-10 team bracket played in St. Cloud on Sunday, March 29. Each team will play 3 games.
Grades 8-9 • Boys & Girls • SUN, March 29 • St. Cloud (Teams register directly.)
All Minnesota 8th and 9th grade teams are invited to enter the Pacesetter Minnesota State Championships in St. Cloud on Sunday, March 29. There will be no limit on the number of teams that can register.

The Minnesota state champions and runners-up will qualify for the Pacesetter Great Five-State Championship at the Target Center in Minneapolis – Summer 2026.

All players on a team must either be enrolled in the same school system or live or attend school in the same city or the same tribal community. Smaller schools may combine to form one team if the combined high school enrollment for grades 9-12 is 400 or fewer. Schools that combine must be from neighboring schools.

  • Need to add players? Please email the Pacesetter office with any additions to your roster, pacesettersportsmbbn@gmail.com. Every player must have a waiver on file. A copy of your roster also needs to be turned in at each tournament.

Grades 4-9 • Boys & Girls teams: MN • WI •IA • SD • ND (Teams qualify in state playoffs)

Summer weekends in conjunction with Lynx games • Target Center – Minneapolis

The top two teams from the Minnesota state tournament will be invited to represent Minnesota in the Pacesetter Great Five-State Championships at the Target Center in Minneapolis, where they will play against the top teams from North Dakota, Iowa, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. Post-season “GREAT STATE” invitations will be issued at each qualifying state tournament. Further information, guidelines, and rules for each tournament will be provided in the invitation and posted on the Pacesetter Sports website.

2026 Minnesota Invitational Tournament

Grades 4-7 • Boys & Girls • SAT, March 28 • St. Cloud  

The 2026 Pacesetter Minnesota Invitational Tournament will be held in St. Cloud, MN, where teams that participated in the Region Playoffs will battle for the prestigious MIT championship. All region teams other than champions are invited to register. All teams will play 3-4 full games. Teams will be accepted on a first-come, first served basis.
