2024 North Dakota Youth Basketball State Championships


2024 GREAT 5-STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS • TARGET CENTER • MINNEAPOLIS

North Dakota teams in grades 4-9 will again be able to qualify for the Pacesetter Great Five-State Tournament at the Target Center in Minneapolis to face teams from Minnesota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, and Iowa in an 8-team bracket.

The Pacesetter Great Five-State Championships for grades 4-9 will be held in the summer of 2024 with each team guaranteed to play at least one game on the main Target Center floor, home of the MN Timberwolves and MN Lynx and NCAA Final Four championships.

Each “Great State” bracket will feature eight top teams from the five Upper Midwest states of Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.

All teams will play three games in 1-2 days. Teams and fans will attend a Minnesota Lynx game in conjunction with the Pacesetter “Great State” tournament.

QUALIFYING

Teams from North Dakota will be qualifying through a tournament within their state:

1) Jr. Grand Am in Grand Forks April 5-7

The top North Dakota teams in Grades 4-9 from the Fast Break Club Jr. Grand Am April 5-7
in Grand Forks will be invited to represent North Dakota in the Pacesetter Great Five-State Tournament
in Minneapolis, where each team will be able to play a minimum of one game on the main Target Center floor. Other top North Dakota teams in the Jr. Grand Am could be invited as wild card selections.

Great Five-State ENTRY FEE: $230/team All players, coaches and fans will be required to purchase a Lynx game ticket – approx. $25-30 – which will serve as a pass to all Pacesetter games and the MN Lynx game.
