All youth basketball teams in Wisconsin in grades 4-9 are invited to play in the 2018 Pacesetter Wisconsin Youth Basketball State Championships at Ripon College in Ripon on March 11 and March 18.Teams must attend the same school, or live or attend school in the same city, the same school district, or the same tribal community.The champion, and possibly the runner-up, from Wisconsin will be invited to play in the 8-team Pacesetter Great Five-State Championship at the newly renovated Target Center in Minneapolis against teams from Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota and South Dakota. Over 1,000 teams will be participating from the five states.Pacesetter is a strong advocate for supporting “Hometown Teams” by providing instructional camps, tournaments and newsmagazines supporting high school basketball. In 38 years, Pacesetter has provided over 2,000 camps and 2,000 tournaments and published over 200 newsmagazines.

The champion, and possibly the runner-up, from the Wisconsin State Tournament advance to the Target Center in Minneapolis, MN where they play in the Great Five-State Championships against the top teams from Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota and South Dakota.
Further information and guidelines will be provided in the invitation packets at the state tournament for each tournament and posted later on this website after all state qualifying has been completed.
Pacesetter Great Five-State Championships
Target Center • Minneapolis, MN
All teams will play three games in one or two days in an eight-team bracket.
Great State tournament dates will be finalized soon after the MN Lynx schedule is completed in the spring. Past tournaments have been held in June and July.
The Target Center will again host the Great State Championships as it has from 2010-2016. In 2017, The Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul hosted the Great Four-State Championships due to construction on the Target Center.
